ZBA Architecture Celebrates Grand Opening of Christian Aid Center Men's Shelter and Meal Program

This $10 million, 18,000-square-foot facility is a major upgrade for the organization and the community it serves.

ZBA was involved early in the process—working with the Christian Aid Center from the initial concept phase all the way through construction. Being part of the entire journey allowed us to help bring their vision to life in a way that really works for the people they serve.

The new building includes features like an elevator to ensure men with mobility challenges can access the entire facility, something the previous shelter couldn't offer. The Christian Aid Center shelters an average of 60 men, women, and children each night, providing hot meals, clean clothes, and the support people need to get back on their feet.

This project is exactly the kind of work we love to do—creating spaces that make a real difference for people who need it most.
