Esperanza I Farmworker Housing Grand Opening

This newly constructed community features several four-unit buildings, a laundry building and an outdoor family recreation area.  

Prior to construction, workers were housed in steel shipping containers converted into housing. These were removed to make way for the new, updated buildings and site amenities.   There are currently four new two-story buildings that contain four units per building with each unit having two bedrooms. These units are fully equipped with VCT flooring, cabinets, appliances, and built-in lockers. ZBA also worked with the client to provide a full furniture package for the units as well.  The site is aesthetically pleasing with custom trellises and all new, drought resistant landscaping in a natural, park-like setting.
