Kathy Russell Appointed to State Licensing Board

Kathy Russell, an architect with 30 years of experience, joined ZBA Architecture in September 2024. She was recently appointed to the Washington State Licensing Board for Architects and will serve as Vice-Chair for the coming year. Her term extends through 2030.

The Board is responsible for examining and licensing architects in Washington State and investigates violations of state regulations related to the practice of architecture. It also recommends rules and regulations for administering licensing laws.

Kathy is a past president of the AIA Spokane chapter and an active volunteer in the Mead School District.
